Stop Distance Lab Privacy
A plain summary of how the offline driver-education lab handles information on your iPhone.
What runs locally
Speed, grade, surface condition, perception-reaction assumptions, segmented distance results, reaction tap-test averages, scenario choices, side-by-side compares, vehicle presets, quiz progress, and Home Screen widget totals are processed and stored on-device only (including local persistence such as SwiftData where applicable).
What we do not do
- No accounts or sign-in at launch
- No cloud sync dependency for core lab features
- No third-party analytics SDKs
- No advertising networks or ad tracking
- No sale of personal information
Reaction tap test
Multi-trial timing is measured on the device so you can optionally apply your average latency as the reaction component. Timing data is not uploaded by the app.
Widget
The Home Screen widget reflects real last-used local totals from your presets. It does not phone home for metrics.
Educational scope
In-app banners mark estimates as educational only. Privacy practices match that design: a self-contained tool without remote profiling.
